Failed Sprinkler System

This high-rise building had an old sprinkler system that malfunctioned throughout many rooms and common areas. You can see in this before photo the red residue that was released during the malfunction due to the systems age and lack of use over so many years. Many of the apartment floors looked similar to this one. Luckily SERVPRO got there as quickly as possible, knowing there were so many customers ready for us to restore their homes. We extracted the water from the hallways and carpets and then cleaned them and deodorized the rooms and hallways so there was no reminiscence of the old sprinkler system malfunction.
