Fire Prevention is a dedicated way to try to improve conditions and make efforts to correct an issue before it turns into a problem. Fire Prevention Week is during the period of which October 9 falls. Did you know Fire Prevention Week goes as far back as 1925? The oldest membership section of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) is the Fire Marshals Association of North America (FMANA).
