Water damages are always different and can be challanging. Each can pose a variety of different materials to mitigate. Drying a wood gymnasium floor can tricky. SERVPRO of Newark is always up to the challenge and can apply a wide range of drying techniques. In this case, some localized drying was performed using a “tent” method. Rather than attempt to remove moisture from a large area with a high ceiling, SERVPRO of Newark created a smaller area to dry. This allows for much quicker and more efficient moisture migration from the wood into the atmosphere, which is collected via the low grain refrigerant dehumidifiers. Saving the materials are a priority, and in this case the entire surface was salvaged without the need to replace the costly wood floors.
