Leather cleaning for the home or office
Real leather furniture can look nice, but it won’t stay new-looking forever.
The first thing to do when your leather furniture is starting to look “not so fresh” is look for the manufacturers care label that is attached to your furniture, usually under the cushions on even possibly underneath the piece of furniture.
Most times, proper cleaning instructions are listed on this are what is recommended. If you cannot find any instructions, or if what is listed on the label doesn’t work, there are a few things you can try.
The least harsh cleaning method that works great is mild dish soap and water.
The 2nd method to try, if the soap and water method doesn’t work too well is to try some vinegar on a white cloth.
The 3rd, and sure-fire method and strongest is to mix equal parts rubbing alcohol and water and mix in a spray bottle and spray on, let sit for a minute when wipe off with clean towels.
There are many other options that you can find on the internet, but if you don’t want to try any of this at home, just call SERVPRO of Brandywine/Wilmington at 302-762-8080 and let us do the hard work for you with our own special cleaning agents specifically for leather furniture for your home or office.
