Emergency Information in hand

September is a month in which National Preparedness takes place.  It is a time to plan and focus on unpredictable events that may take place in either your home or workplace.  This is an important time when everyone should do this.  As a family, perhaps you can sit down and go over a meeting place where to meet if an unfortunate event were to occur.  A walk through of the home or commercial facility can be done and locate where the gas or water shut off valves are.  Take the time to go over how to properly use a fire extinguisher in the event of a small fire and how make sure they are not expired. 

Taking steps by arming yourself or business is important information as it may help during a stressful time.
